Personalized 1:1 SAT Tutoring

Howdy!

I am a full-time SAT/ACT tutor with over 7 years of demonstrated success on both the SAT and ACT. While my high school years are beyond me (and my colleagues say I fit right in with the high school students I take the SAT every few months with), I consistently score in the 1560-1600 range (including a perfect 1600 in 2019) which helps me remain relevant with any changes and patterns to the digital SAT. After receiving a full ride Questbridge scholarship to Bowdoin College, I knew that I wanted to continue pursuing my passion for teaching and helping students bridge the gap between potential and results. It is a privilege to use my background as a young professional and adult to connect, advise, and mentor students to success without compromising teaching standards — this results in my students being motivated, committed, and successful in a fraction of the time it would have taken them to achieve the same result at different programs. As an educator, I understand that students face at least one of the following challenges:

1) Lack of Confidence due to ineffective and emotionally negative tutors in the past

2) Disconnect between Potential & Results due not to a lack of content mastery, but weak test taking strategies and test preparation

3) Wasted time and potential spent on generic test prep without clear, demonstrated, and quantifiable progress
