Private 1:1 SAT/ACT Tutoring That Actually Works
The #1 reason why students don’t get into their dream colleges is a low SAT/ACT score.
Most students don’t struggle with the SAT and ACT because they aren’t capable. In fact, there is a very high chance that if your student is a junior in high school then they have already covered all of the math on the SAT and ACT, yet they struggle because they don’t have the right strategy. At Northpoint, we teach students how to approach the SAT with clarity, structure, and confidence—so they improve faster and perform when it matters most.
Results You Can Expect From Us:
Average SAT improvement: 150–200+ points
Improved motivation and confidence leading up to test day and on the exam
Higher scores = stronger college outcomes
From Our Director — Brian
Howdy!
I am a full-time SAT/ACT tutor with thousands of documented tutoring hours over the last 7 years. While my colleagues say I fit right in with the high school students I take the SAT every few months with, I consistently score in the 1560-1600 range including a perfect 1600 in 2019.
Most of the students we work with are not lacking ability—they are simply stuck. They may already be working hard, taking practice tests, and putting in the time, but their scores are not improving the way they should.
They feel frustrated, inconsistent, or unsure of how to approach the test. What they need is not more effort, but a clearer strategy.
Other students we work with are already capable of strong scores, and the challenge is not effort, but knowing how to approach the test efficiently and consistently. Once that changes, results follow quickly.
That’s where we come in.
Our students don’t settle for anything less than the best and we don’t either. My team and I help students close the gap between potential and performance through clear strategy, efficient instruction, and real accountability that keeps students engaged, motivated, and confident in themselves. Every tutor on our team has scored in the top 1%, earned a perfect score in at least one section, and coached students to exceptional results.

Want a Fast, Low-Risk Way to Get Started?
Book a first session and get a targeted score-improvement plan designed to produce measurable results quickly
Here’s how we get results without restrictive contracts, student burnout, or wasted energy.
1) Diagnostic & Evaluation
We begin with a mock exam and a strategy consultation to identify your student’s strengths, weaknesses, and test-taking patterns. Even if you do not continue with us, you will leave with a personalized game plan and greater clarity.
2) Match with a tutor
We match your student with the right tutor and build a personalized plan around their goals, schedule, and target score. Our tutoring is strategic, efficient, and designed to produce faster results (as much as 100+ points on the SAT or 3 points on the ACT in under 6 hours) than generic prep programs.
3) Growth & Progress Tracking
Through real-time feedback and structured progress tracking, families always know how their student is doing. We adjust instruction as needed so students stay supported, motivated, and on track.
4) Results
Our students improve with confidence, not burnout. The goal is not just a higher score, but a smarter, calmer, more effective approach to the test.
